Keith Woffinden

PARTNER

Keith is a partner at Keller Preece that focuses his practice on domestic and foreign patent prosecution. Keith assists his clients in strategically developing and managing multi-national patent portfolios while creatively developing solutions to difficult intellectual property issues. Keith has experience in a variety of technology areas, including software, computer systems, blockchain, cryptography, machine learning, e-commerce, Internet technologies, telecommunications, and the mechanical arts.

Before joining Keller Preece, Keith worked as in-house counsel for a multi-national consumer goods company and as an attorney at an Am Law 100 international law firm.

Keith graduated at the top of his class from the J. Reuben Clark Law School at Brigham Young University, serving as Editor-in-Chief of the law review. Immediately after law school, Keith clerked for the Honorable Jay S. Bybee of the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.

Prior to law school, Keith graduated as the outstanding student of his class in Civil Engineering at Brigham Young University, researched and co-authored in the field of materials engineering, and worked as a design engineer and soil analyst.

Outside of legal practice, Keith enjoys trail running and spending time with his four boys and two girls.
