John is an associate at Keller Preece that focuses his practice on domestic and foreign patent prosecution in the software, computer systems, and genetic sequencing industries. Drawing upon his experience as a medical lab scientist, he brings a creative and effective approach to patent prosecution.
John graduated from the University of Arizona James E. Rogers College of Law cum laude, serving on the Arizona Law Review and as a TA for legal writing. Prior to law school, John graduated with a B.S. in microbiology from Brigham Young University and worked for a year in a medical lab as a microbiologist.
Outside of legal practice, John enjoys reading, playing tabletop games, and cooking with his wife.
