Ryan Keller, partner at Keller Jolley Preece, focuses primarily on the preparation of U.S. and foreign patent applications. Ryan is known by his clients for his aggressive and creative approach in securing intellectual property rights for their technologies.
Ryan has extensive experience prosecuting patents in a range of technologies including computer software, polymer processing, mining and exploration, semi-conductor fabrication, and other technologies. In addition, Ryan currently helps multiple Fortune 500 companies develop and manage their domestic and international patent portfolios.
Prior to founding Keller Preece, Ryan worked for a nationally recognized patent law firm in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Ryan graduated summa cum laude from the J. Reuben Clark Law School at Brigham Young University, where he was also an Executive Editor of the BYU Law Review. During law school, Ryan received several recognitions for legal writing and advocacy, including various local and regional awards for best oralist and best briefs in IP Moot Court.
Ryan is an avid traveler and particularly enjoys traveling in Italy. Ryan also enjoys spending time with his wife and five children.
