Jordan Brimley

ASSOCIATE

Jordan Brimley is an intellectual property attorney focused on securing patent protection for clients in the technology, aerospace, and manufacturing industries. Drawing upon his experience as a mechanical and aerospace engineer, he brings a creative and technically accurate approach to patent procurement.

Before joining Keller Preece, Jordan was a patent attorney at a national law firm in Salt Lake City where he successfully represented clients in securing patent protection in the automotive and life science industries, among others. During law school, he interned for the Honorable Jill N. Parrish of the United States District Court for the District of Utah.

Earlier in his career, Jordan gained three years of experience as an aerospace engineer with Borsight, Inc. in Ogden, Utah. He also has worked alongside engineering teams at Northrop Grumman, Iridium Satellite, and Draper Laboratory. Jordan has designed and integrated surveillance mission systems and structural alterations on fixed-wing and rotary-wing aircraft. Additionally, he has experience developing and analyzing mission systems for low-Earth-orbiting satellites, and guidance and navigation systems for rocket launches and space capsule atmospheric reentries.

Outside of legal practice, Jordan enjoys hiking and spending time in nature with his wife and two sons.
